Q: My insurance company said I have to go to a specific shop, is that true?
A: No, it’s your choice as to where your vehicle is repaired. We offer complete handling of your insurance claim and we will work directly with your insurance company to repair your vehicle. Dynasty Collision works with all insurance companies. We will return your vehicle to its pre-accident condition.
Q: The insurance company states I won’t have a warranty if I do not use their DRP shop. Is that true?
A: No, we offer a lifetime warranty on our collision work. A lifetime warranty means we guarantee the work performed on your vehicle for as long as you own that car. If for any reason, the repairs do not hold up or there is an issue, you return the vehicle to us and have repairs completed at no cost to you.
Q: How is a total loss determined?
A: A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company’s determined value of your vehicle.
Q: Does the insurance company pay you directly for the repair?
A: Every insurance company is different. In many cases, the insurance company sends the check directly to the shop. Sometimes the initial check will be mailed directly to the insured customer in the event that happens you can simply bring the check to us. The supplemental checks will be mailed directly to the shop.
Q: Do I need to pay a deductible, and if so who should I pay it to?
A: Your deductible is determined by your insurance policy. Deductible payments should be made to Dynasty Collision And Auto Repair upon completion of the repairs. If another party’s insurance company is paying for your repairs, you are not subject to a deductible.
